You will transform into a failed alchemy experiment, trying to discover the mystery of the ever-changing cursed island. In the world of Dead Cells, there are no traditional checkpoints or save points. Kill, die, learn, and repeat, that’s the rule of survival. Each time you lose a life, your body is destroyed, but your soul is immortal. You will have to take on a new body and continue your journey in dangerous dungeons. There is no easy way out, you can only defeat the final boss in one run or have to start over. However, Dead Cells does not abandon you completely: some progress is retained through each run, helping you discover new paths, unlock skills, weapons, and mutations.
